3 Days Uganda gorilla tour to Bwindi National Park
Day 1: Transfer to south western Uganda
After breakfast from your Hotel in Kampala, our safari guide will transfer you to the home of mountain Gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable National Park.
The first part of the journey takes us through central Uganda and after a stop in Mbarara for lunch, we continue on the last stretch through a beautiful landscape of Kabale district also known as the “Switzerland of Africa”: mountains, lakes, hills with cultivated terraces, tropical rainforest and bamboo forest. It is approximately 7-9 hours drive. Dinner and overnight at Wagtail Eco safari camp, Nshongi Gorilla camp, Chameleon Hill lodge, Nshongi gorilla resort or Nkuringo Gorilla camp, Clouds mountain gorilla lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking adventure
Breakfast and report for briefing. It is wise to move with your packed lunch, mineral bottled water and tracking gears. Enjoy a life time event of searching for the Gorillas in their natural habitat however; also expect to see other animals and birds to or from the colonies of mountain Gorilla. You will be given a maximum of one hour in the presence of the great apes, take pictures and return to Your lodge for relation as your wait for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Back to Kampala –Entebbe Airport
Early in the morning after breakfast you will travel back to Kampala. On the way back to the city you will have lunch in Mbarara town, and after Masaka there will be an opportunity to a stop at the Equator for photo shoots and buying souvenirs and have tea or coffee. Proceed to Kampala for overnight or Entebbe Airport for your flight back home.
